With climate change & planetary health at front of mind, can this startup create a self-sufficient, carbon neutral luxury & wellness resort in Dubai?
My guest today is René Deceuninck, Master in Body Language, motivational speaker, coach and trainer. René is concerned about the pollution associated with tourism, hospitality, and catering. With the ecologically self-sufficient Back To Nature luxury & wellness resort, he strives to revolutionize the market by providing a carbon neutral village in Dubai.
At the age of 12, during a Swiss ski trip in Maloja, René started dreaming about building his own log home. The Back To Nature resort will contain twenty 5-star luxury log home holiday villas, a high-end self-sustainable wellness centre, together with a convention centre for health & wellbeing events, seminars and lectures, with plans to invite speakers such as Nassim Haramein, Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, and Tony Robbins.
The landscapes of Hatta in Dubai possess some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the UAE. Enjoy the changing scenes from desert to mountains, you’ll be welcomed by the calm turquoise waters. The Hatta Heritage Village boasts a restored museum housing relics and documents of past Emirati life, where you’ll learn about Dubai’s Arabian heritage from food to folklore.
In this episode, I ask René about his story, vision, and business needs.
