Burnout: Saved By Surprising Wisdom

Dear Fellow Entrepreneurial Leader,

I wanted to share a personal story with you, one that has shaped my perspective on leadership and personal growth.

There was a time when I sat at my desk, feeling completely empty. In my darkest hour, it was the innocent words of my 5-year-old son that brought me a glimmer of hope. "Dad, it will be okay," he said. I was on the brink of collapse, but his words ignited a journey - a journey into how we, as entrepreneurial leaders, can not just survive, but truly thrive.

Despite hiring coaches, attending workshops, and investing in personal development, I found myself vulnerable, prone to overwhelm and burnout. Then, a quote by Howard Thurman struck a chord within me: "Don't ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive and go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

This insight spurred a deep exploration into what it truly means to 'come alive.' As a Harvard & Oxford trained public health and preventive medicine physician, I embarked on a transformative coaching journey. This path led me to understand our innate human ability to thrive, create, and innovate.

I discovered that we're always just one insight away from a new perspective, capable of turning any obstacle into an opportunity. This understanding has unlocked infinite possibilities for me.
